Review on Monroe OESpectrum Truck Shock Absorber 37162 by Tim Wadman

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Frighteningly good! for parts

With over 140,000 miles on it, my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee not only needed a shock replacement but also a small lift kit to clear some slightly oversized tires. I chose the Air Lift 1000 and these dampers based on online reviews of Monroe products versus other brands and models. Doesn't matter! Pneumatic jacks give it just enough height without feeling like it's being flung into the mud, and Sensa-Trac smooths out bumps with little Jeep 4x4 guts. I've noticed a definite reduction in body lean in turns, not sure if it's the Air Lifts or the Monroes, but some will tell you it's more anti-roll. After replacing the front struts, we see a larger stabilizer bar. But now my aging Jeep has found new life and a new lease of life. I highly recommend Sensa-Tracs for the price and quality.
