Rated ride but my entry had loud bumps

My entry is a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. In terms of driving stability, these dampers are fine. No major problems with it. My biggest issue with these mufflers is that they are noisy. I had these shock absorbers and my jeep would make the infamous jeep rattle in the back of the car when you hit the smallest of bumps. I swapped them out for another set of 37162 shocks and the knock was gone. After a 12km ride I replaced them again in 2017 with another set 37162. After 2500 miles my knock came…

All bolts, nuts, housing, bushings, etc. are properly tightened but the noise persists. What I can tell is that it's 50/50 at the moment because the passenger side impact rumbles every time. travel time of the vehicle…

With over 140,000 miles on it, my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee not only needed a shock replacement but also a small lift kit to clear some slightly oversized tires. I chose the Air Lift 1000 and these dampers based on online reviews of Monroe products versus other brands and models. Doesn't matter! Pneumatic jacks give it just enough height without feeling like it's being flung into the mud, and Sensa-Trac smooths out bumps with little Jeep 4x4 guts. I've noticed a definite reduction in body lean…
