Obviously it was designed to hold hair dryers, but it's definitely designed to hold a heat gun. The flex neck is at the load limit with the hot air gun, let's see how well it tolerates the stiffness. The suction cup is good if you can get a good surface. A bit pricey for what it is and it took a while for shipping from China!
