Review on 💧 Proteus AQUO: Smart WiFi Water Detector with Buzzer and Email/Text Alerts by Zachary Spaulding

We're going on a longer vacation and we needed an extra guarantee that our basement wouldn't flood. Even with a backup sump pump, there's still that little worry at heart. Although the price for this was a bit high, it seemed simple and didn't require an additional "base station" or other Apple device to send notifications. The only time this wouldn't work would be if the power went out too, as it requires a plug-in and there's no battery backup option. I received it quickly and it took me 10 minutes max to install including testing. It was SO easy. The only advice I have is to click the 'Help' button next to the email/text boxes. There is a specific format that must be used to send text messages to your phone. I dunked the sensor in some water and text and emails were sent quickly. Works like a jewel.
