It was SO easy. The only hint I have is to press.

We're going on a longer vacation and we needed an extra guarantee that our basement wouldn't flood. Even with a backup sump pump, there's still that little worry at heart. Although the price for this was a bit high, it seemed simple and didn't require an additional "base station" or other Apple device to send notifications. The only time this wouldn't work would be if the power went out too, as it requires a plug-in and there's no battery backup option. I received it quickly and it took me 10โ€ฆ

What is your peace of mind worth to you?

Easy setup - no hassle including adding more sensors. Impeccable work. Awesome web control center with multiple options for each sensor including: the ability to name each sensor, whether the sensor is normally wet or dry, buzzer settings (continuous or silent after X minutes), advanced mode (additional monthly fee, including voice call notifications , advanced data logs, increased alarm notifications, IFTTT, Slack webhooks, Revain Alexa notifications and more), email and mobile numberโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Reliability

Small and easy to set up. peace of mind. priceless.

This is the most compact and economical thing you can find as an early warning system for leaks or moisture exposure. Comes with a 7ft cable that connects to the sensor and that you connect to the brain of the device with a 3.5mm phono plug. Easy to install, connect to the internet and configure to receive notifications. The controller box is disconnected from the USB port/power supply. So if the sensor needs to be further away, you can probably use a male-to-female USB extension cable. Keep in

Powered by Google Home Wifi (Mesh)

I bought this detector over similarly cheaper detectors based on a question and answer from a customer who said they had both 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi and 5 GHz supported. When I opened the box and saw "2.4GHz only" on the instructions, I was about to return it. Many pure 2.4 GHz home devices will not work with today's mesh routers. Even though your mesh network uses both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, many devices will not connect, causing confusion with the same SSID for multiple access points on different channelsโ€ฆ

Outstanding product and customer service!

After reading the reviews I was wondering about the 2.4mhz and 5mhz internet bandwidth as I have "capsules" which I've been told will convert my internet coverage to a "mesh -System" so that both ranges are used. I spoke directly to a technician at Proteus (what a pleasure to speak to a human!) and they told me that their device only runs at 2.4MHz. My ISP is Comcast (which is a whole story in itself when I tried to speak to one person) and found the following information: Why can't I see theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Socket Required

A few years ago I was walking through our full basement conversion and my socks were soaked through - the carpet was soaked. Our sump pump failed and our backup sump pump didn't turn on because its switch was stuck (so make sure to lift and check these switches regularly). I happened to catch him earlier, but he still cost us several thousand dollars in damage, treatment, and recovery. I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap battery powered water alarm. Yes it is noisy when you are around butโ€ฆ

  • Quality construction

Easy to install - Alerts are FAST - Might need to set up for quick response

Review: I have selected two brands of product in case a system fails or the power fails, the battery dies or whatever works with one Brand. For example, the Honeywell site hung for about 2 hours (minimum) on setup. It was very uncomfortable to understand that he had fallen. Luckily, they were available via live chat on their support site. Below I will compare them to each other. ------------------------------------------------- --------------- -------------------- -------Look for the followingโ€ฆ
