I'll start with a plus, the magnet is quite strong. Now the question I had with this product. Bought for my wife's car. I cleaned the surface where I wanted to glue the mount. Then came the climax off the tape. That's when I saw that it didn't look like the 3M tape my other mounts were using. Just thought it might be some other type of tape so I stuck it on the dash. After 4 hours of our trip the phone fell off the dashboard and the protective glass broke. The tape they use for this mount is white and doesn't stick very well. As soon as it fell off I felt the tape and it was almost non-tacky. I'm not the type to send things back after use so I went ahead and bought 3M 30lb double sided tape which should fix the problem. All my other magnetic mounts use the much stronger 3M tape and some were even cheaper. I hope this helps before you buy this mount for your next trip.
