The hose didn't stay in place when all I had to do was use the hose. In the upright position, the Dyson DC07 Animal worked flawlessly. When I just had to use the hose, this replacement part came loose from the vacuum at both ends. The bottom connection wasn't very good, but it mostly stayed in place. The top of the tubing that connected to the Dyson stick didn't stay connected at all. I set the suction to 2 because it worked when my Dyson was standing upright. I couldn't use the hose alone and the suction power was almost zero.
