. It may not be real, but it serves its purpose. It's a little tight and the hose is a little tight, but over time with constant use, the hose will stretch slightly. It's worth it!

Worked well at first, then I noticed that it had come loose from the tab on the block connector. I couldn't get the locking tab in the right position because the hose clamp broke. It works, but isn't quite capable of blocking properly.

The bottom of the hose connects to Dyson Animal but the top does not snap into the handle/extension. It stays on while sucking but pushes the hose out of the handle when the extension is retracted.

The fit is quite tight and difficult to remove and install. The top and bottom are two different colors of purple. The connector ends fit well. I'm afraid the hose will rip because it's so tight. I will update in a month or two

When I first received this hose I thought it was too small and I would have to return it. I was waiting for my husband to get back from work and he tried and managed to fit the hose to the Dyson. The first few times I used the hose it was very difficult to get it loose, but now that I've used it a lot I've had no problems and it works great!

I wish I could read the October 2020 review. This is NOT a Dyson hose. It's great for vacuuming with an upright/power brush, but once you want to use attachments (crevices, dusting brush, upholstery, etc.) with the attachment, the hose will not stay attached to the attachment. This begins after the return period has expired, after approx. 45 days. Big disappointment.

The hose didn't stay in place when all I had to do was use the hose. In the upright position, the Dyson DC07 Animal worked flawlessly. When I just had to use the hose, this replacement part came loose from the vacuum at both ends. The bottom connection wasn't very good, but it mostly stayed in place. We love our Dyson. Bought it in 2006 and have been using it ever since. I don't feel like Dyson products are made from the most durable plastic. In the process, we've easily replaced the dust collector and cyclone, two cable clips, and now the main hose for less than $100. I am amazed that spare parts are still available and that the spare parts are so easy to manage. It didn't take long to sort out and snap the new hose into place. I'm fine.
