We love our Dyson. Bought it in 2006 and have been using it ever since. I don't feel like Dyson products are made from the most durable plastic. In the process, we've easily replaced the dust collector and cyclone, two cable clips, and now the main hose for less than $100. I am amazed that spare parts are still available and that the spare parts are so easy to manage. It didn't take long to sort out and snap the new hose into place. I'm fine. The hose is a bit tight when using the attachments, but I think this will loosen up over time.
