So far so good

I recently considered purchasing an additional Monster Digital PowerCenter MDP 700 PDU but was disappointed to learn the company was discontinuing it. My search for something reliable led me to the Echogear 12 Outlet Power Strip and I am as happy with it as I am with the well-known reliable Monster. "Installation” does not include anything other than simply plugging the Device into an electrical outlet. There is enough space for plugs of different sizes, so you can easily connect something with a power adapter, e.g. B. a game system or a charger. While this device isn't color-coded like the Monster, there's plenty of room on the top to add your own labels or write with markers to make it easier to see what's plugged in where. There's also a nice green glow on both sides when plugged in to let you know the protection is active and grounded, and helps you see the adapter for yourself when it's in a dark location. Haven't had a chance to test it against strong waves from a thunderstorm, but as the title says, so far so good. TO UPDATE. So I survived my first big splash in a storm and everything held up well. . The protector did its job and is still protecting. A good thing.
