Fits my medium to large female hands like a medium to large size. I wouldn't use them for mixing meatloaf as they won't hold and probably won't hold pressure, but for cooking faster or making a nasty mess I'll be very comfortable in them. When first opening the top oval cutout of cardboard there is another protective layer of plastic before reaching the gloves (simply tear open the protective pouch). After that, pulling out one glove at a time is convenient and easy since I just started using them. Halfway you may have to dig to get the gauntlet, but it's easy at first.
