Review on Milton S 441 Brass Valve Extension by Brandon Skeet

May not compatible with new car pressure sensors

For reference only. If you have one of these newer vehicles from 2006 and newer, you have a built-in tire pressure gauge, which is a sensor that costs between $50 and $100 each. This item is actually part of the valve stem. So if the valve stem corrodes or breaks, buy a very expensive replacement. The tire shop told me that the corrosion that can occur between the Val's aluminum stem and the brass extension could cost you big bucks. The extension can break the valve stem if someone touches it. Great idea especially for an older Hickel model but can be a real hassle when used on a newer car.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Almost OK
