AIR LEAK, DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY. You will slowly deflate your tires. Even when properly and firmly installed, they still let air through. I missed working with those valve stem extenders.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Safety

crap, don't buy it.

Everyone gives them 5 stars, I can't understand why. They fit and look good, but there's no way to check the pressure or inflate the tire, which defeats the purpose. Have tried different types of air chucks with no success. I can't figure out how they're supposed to work.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • There are cons

Valve expanders that can't

On a new set of tires the valve stems are too short to mount my air compressor so I need these extensions. You look great! However, they also lick after tightening with pliers. Two out of four resulted in a low tire condition due to leaking valve stem extensions. Those valve stem extenders are worse than nothing as at least my tires weren't deflated before installing them.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Very easy to use Item

As stated in the title. This item is very easy to use. If you don't have the valve stem long enough, this will lengthen it an additional 3/4 inch. There is also another version that is slightly longer that you can buy. You simply unscrew the valve stem cap on your old valve stem, screw this extension in, and then put the cap on the extension. There's a little "ball" in this thing that pushes the shaft when you fill air.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Those extension cords are leaking, big time. Poorly designed and executed.

I hand tightened them properly and put the original plastic valve caps on them. In two days, two tires lost most if not all of their air pressure. What might have happened is that the cap pushes against the piston in the extension when you put it on and the depressed tire valve stem then seeps into the ring between the extension and the valve and flows out through the metal threads between them. I also suspect that the silicone sealing washer is defective. Bottom line: complete nonsense. Avoid.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Frequency

May not compatible with new car pressure sensors

For reference only. If you have one of these newer vehicles from 2006 and newer, you have a built-in tire pressure gauge, which is a sensor that costs between $50 and $100 each. This item is actually part of the valve stem. So if the valve stem corrodes or breaks, buy a very expensive replacement. The tire shop told me that the corrosion that can occur between the Val's aluminum stem and the brass extension could cost you big bucks. The extension can break the valve stem if someone touches it…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Almost OK

My dad loves his 1992 Oldsmobile. But you pretty much had to unlock the wheels with the key and remove the caps to access the inflation valves when the tires were low. These extensions have solved this problem. I even put them on my garden tractor because I have two tires that need to be deflated every week. When the tires were very low, the short valves tended to push past the rim when I tried to connect the air hose. These 3/4 inch extensions allowed me to pinch the valve with my fingers when

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Mostly OK, but...

Numerous issues made it unusable and I didn't get what I paid for.

The product comes with 3 extensions only. Not only that, one of them looked like it had been set on fire (see photo). This extension was dark in color, like brass that had been heated with a torch. Given the price, one might overlook all of these issues, but they just don't work. They don't seem to screw in deep enough to hook the schrader valve itself. This creates pressure only between the two valves. I made sure of that by pushing the little metal dome in and when installed on the valve no…

This item only came with 3 extensions. Not only that, but one of them looked like it had been burned (see photo). This extension was dark in colour As you might find with torch heated brass. Considering the price, all of these issues are negligible, but they just don't work. They don't seem to screw in deep enough to turn the Schrader valve itself. Between 2 valves. I confirmed by pressing the little metal dome and no air comes out when installed on the valve if no air comes out the valve won't

Pros
  • Effective Overall Length 3/4"
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Well-made, efficient valve extenders. But problems at the sink!

This is an update of my previous glowing review. I installed these valve extenders on my 2015 Toyota Prius V which had very short stems that were difficult to reach. When installed, these extensions route the valves directly behind the wheels where they are visible. They looked good with the brass valve caps which I also bought from Revain. However, when I went for a service at the Toyota dealer yesterday, then put the car through an automatic car wash and coyly reported that they had damaged…

Pros
  • Simply screw the valve extension onto the existing valve core
Cons
  • old

What am I missing here? Bought in anticipation of an extension.

What am I missing here? Bought expecting an extension to have a center "pin" that depresses the existing valve core when screwed on to allow air to flow in and out of the tire/tube and a second "pin" at the top of the extension , which prevents air from escaping after removing the pump fitting. No; There is no bottom "pin" and no top "ball" stopper that isn't even sealed in one direction only. So when screwing in, an attempt is made to introduce air into the extension itself, but nothing enters

Pros

  • Some issues
