My dad loves his 1992 Oldsmobile. But you pretty much had to unlock the wheels with the key and remove the caps to access the inflation valves when the tires were low. These extensions have solved this problem. I even put them on my garden tractor because I have two tires that need to be deflated every week. When the tires were very low, the short valves tended to push past the rim when I tried to connect the air hose. These 3/4 inch extensions allowed me to pinch the valve with my fingers when connecting the air hose. Two months later, there was no air leak from Olds. Finally, I added air hoses to my lawn tractor but left extensions in case the tires ever need to be refueled.
