I ordered this heater for use in a chilly family room. It arrived, I plugged it in, it made a buzzing noise that wouldn't stop and wouldn't turn back on. I contacted Delonghi and explained my situation to them. They acted like I bought this heater before me and demanded that I send them all sorts of paperwork to prove I had blown it just a week ago. The people who help you don't know what they're talking about. They asked me for a serial number ending in letters. I haven't found any numbers ending in letters anywhere on my heater. Then I had to take a picture of the heating element and all the shipping labels and mail it to them. I had to call her at least 6 times to get a satisfaction. After finally convincing them that I wasn't a thief and not trying to trick them, they finally agreed to send me a new heater. But only after I had to send them a photo of me cutting the power cord from a faulty heater. Got my new heater today. I connected it. It started to work, after about two minutes it turned off and the same buzzing sounded again. I just emailed them asking for a full refund. Haven't received an answer yet. Please do not buy this heater. One of them can be a marriage in the production process. Two tells me this heater is from a bad batch or the heater is junk. I reserve my opinion. You decide.
