It took a while to get through so please be patient. But I highly recommend using tape between the IR repeater and the receiver if you're having trouble with a specific device (I had a cable box). Also note that the receiver may have issues with plasma TVs, but by moving it I was able to find a spot to position the sensor where I can still point the remote at the TV without encountering interference. Overall a great product for the price, I was able to extend the IR receiver with standard cables and put all my media center components in a closet which kept me looking very tidy.
