I also have a Launch CreaderVII+ and when I took this CP123X out of the box I immediately noticed how much larger the device is compared to the VII+. The device is at least twice as big. The screen is very bright and easy to read. I really like how I can see the battery life just by quickly pressing the power button. The Wi-Fi upgrade is also a definite plus. I tested two vehicles with this device: a 2004 Nissan Titan and a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. 123X found the VINs pretty quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the device. Another great feature I love about this device is the on-the-go battery voltage. The user interface is also easy to navigate. You don't have to be an electronics genius to use this device. In terms of looks, this device has a very sturdy body, so it can withstand a momentary drop without damaging the device. I also like the soft pouch that stores the device and cables. It would be nice to get an update to reset the oil change indicators, but that's minor. I am very impressed with this diagnostic tool and have great faith in the Launch brand. I'm excited to see what's next. (This review was part of an introductory campaign.)
