Clamp covers are incredibly slippery. I recommend using tape around the base of the cap (where it touches the wire) so it doesn't twist every time you try to squeeze the terminal. The clamp covers need to be made from a higher friction material, but for the price and with the added strap reinforcement, they stay in place and work well.
