SEIKO QHL020B "fake " that failed in one day.

This product is a smaller and cheaper version of the famous SEIKO WORLD CLOCK, model QHL020B. The latter was extremely elegant thanks to its walnut construction, perpetual calendar and universal time accuracy. I was so impressed that four were bought off eBay. Here are the "good" and "bad" SEIKO "fake" ones. BENEFITS.1. PRICE: The original SEIKO sold for $100. The HOWARD MILLER watch cost $21. I bought the "Open Box" for $7.2. FEATURES: The clock displays local time and date. One button operation shows the time in 22 different time zones. It has an alarm clock, a 5-minute snooze button, daylight savings time and an hourly chime. The handy 8-digit calculator has an audible key function - pressing a number/operation key produces a "beep" to ensure the user has registered the data entry.3. SIZE: The watch is compact. However, some users with large fingers may find the keys too small for calculator operations. CONS.1. ADJUSTMENT: The procedures are complex.2. BATTERY: It was difficult to access the battery. ------------------------------------------------------ --------- - ------------------------------------------------------ --------- - ------------------------------------------------------ --------- - ---------------------------------. UPDATE: A day later the device failed. The LCD window is off. After shaking, the black pieces came back distorted, clipped and empty.
