It's amazing! I used this top coat in combination with a leather moisturizer and leather stain. It can provide a light finish with a slight sheen, or a very glossy finish with repeated applications. I restored a few heels and a few handbags that looked dull and worn and while the black stain was important, restoring them to their original look was even more important. I once skipped a color and used this coat in my purse after dipping it in a skin moisturizer. He set the moisturizer in place, making it look healthier, and then added some shine. I applied several coats of finish to everything and applied it with wedge shaped cosmetic sponges. Applying just one coat will give you nothing more than a slight sheen. If you want to avoid shine, you can mix one part water with one part finish. I have restored shoes from Aldo, Steve Madden and Bebe and bags from Bebe, Guess and Lodis. It would be a real shame to get rid of them and now they look brand new. This is a must if you have skin! Make sure you use a moisturizer first, maybe paint, and then finish, but don't skip the moisturizer.
