Review on πŸ“· Rokinon 12mm F2.0 NCS CS Ultra Wide Angle Lens for Olympus and Panasonic MFT Cameras (Black) by Susan Forrest

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would have gladly screwed a natural fast aperture quality 50 years ago!

That's a great price for a working result. While not a native MFT lens, it's huge for what it is. However, the glass is very good, probably in the order of 90%. what you can get at any price. It's a full mouth. Why doesn't it have a depth of field scale? At this price point, it's normal not to have the scales engraved on the aperture and focus rings. I find the focus ring calibration handy. Cases are welcome. And again wins this price range. That's the focal length I used to always want. I like it! You don't have to be careful what you wish for! I think f2 is fast. I don't want to go slower than f2.8 here, but would slightly compromise that 0.8 to switch to a native MFT lens. When I think about it that way (just checked how it sits in a camera bag with the hood on when it's not on the body) I'll keep speed! Now the lens cap, like most, is 5th place. By the way, this f3.5 lens is fantastic.
