After comparing B&O M5, Denon 250 and Beosound 1, the decision to leave Beosound was easy. The Denon 250 sounded much worse than both B&Os and was quickly dropped from my rating. Compared to the B&O M5, the Beosound 1 has a much cleaner sound and slightly less bass as standard. M5 sounded very dull. In terms of design, there is no competition. Beosound 1 looks fantastic. It's also easy to carry, so you can listen to music anywhere in the house. Google Assistant worked flawlessly. Yes it's expensive but after 2 weeks I still think it's value for money considering the sound quality and design. The product is manufactured in the European Union (Czech Republic) in a place with a long history of Hi-Fi production.
