Update 2020 11 24: The device turns off at least once a day. You need to restart Ooma for it to work again. Not sure about the issue as Ooma is only 20ft from the router. One star away. A regular Ooma key can be expensive new, although it sells for $20 on eBay as a refurbishment. Found this solution (among many) via web search. The setup has yet to be done (172.27.35.1) with an Ooma device connected and a Netis WF2111 in the USB slot and Cat. 5 connected to your Ooma house and your computer. Otherwise it couldn't be easier. The website for the solution says it's only good for short ranges, like a room or two from the router.
