Review on Trudeau Alero Pepper Mill Red by Megan Smalls

I bought a Trudeau pepper mill despite my husband's many protestations. "$40 for a pepper grinder?!" I insisted it would be great since it comes with a lifetime guarantee. It wasn't great. In the first year, the plastic part at the bottom where the grind size comes out ripped. Luckily I still had the receipt and the lovely lady at the store we bought it from gave us a replacement free of charge. But this is about the store, not the Trudeau brand. The second cracked almost immediately, but we held onto it and just tried to use it carefully. Now, 3 years later, the thing is unusable. I called Trudeau and calmly told my story and was immediately transferred to another department's voicemail. I left a message but my call was never answered. This is one of the lame and overpriced products out there. BEWARE.
