Strong magnet and precision for lathe and plaster.
We have a house that is over 100 years old with 13 to 18 inch spacing between posts. I've tried using the electronic tenon finder on the lathe and cast to no avail. However, this tool was phenomenal at determining where the metal nails attached the lathe to the studs. Very accurate due to small magnet diameter and very strong magnet for thick plaster. Highly recommended!
