I'm not a coffee drinker, but I like being able to make myself a cup or two with little effort. This little coffee maker is just the ticket. It takes up very little countertop space, is easy to fill and I LOVE the filter. None of the parts can be washed in the dishwasher, but it only takes 2 minutes to wash. Now that it's hot I use it to make iced tea. I put the tea bag in the carafe, press the power button, after the water has drained, I add sugar if needed and let it steep for about 20 minutes. Turn off the machine, stir the sugar again to make sure it's completely dissolved, then pour into a 1/2 gallon jug and add water to fill. I didn't want or need anything complicated or expensive. I am very happy with this simple coffee maker.
