Can't complain about the price

Not that I would call impressive quality, but not bad either. For ordinary shiny "brass" door handles, they are quite suitable. They are not as smooth as your regular brass doorknobs, have a little orange peel and one side feels smoother than the other. But it's not really noticeable enough to be obvious unless you actually get close and look at it. And thick enough to be usable in terms of durability. Again, not exactly an impressive thickness and no beveled outer edge or anything to make it look /really/nice, but thick enough to get the job done, which luckily isn't so thick that a simple die-cut edge really stood out or even looked rough. Looks 100% better than an off-center hole sticking out from the side and easily eliminates the hole/doorknob size mismatch. And if it were thicker, or had a fancy beveled edge, or a better finish, it'd probably be more expensive than you'd want for a stock install. So if it's a really fancy door with really fancy hardware, you might want to look elsewhere/more expensive. Also, it's only really held in place by the pressure of the door handles, so I wouldn't want it on an outside door where security is an issue, as a tricky person could slide it out of the way far enough to probably get to the to access mechanism doors. lock. But for an average interior door in an average mid-range home, decent quality at a reasonable price.
