1/8" piece of very strong metal. I used this to clean a drain fed by my air conditioner's effluent which had clumps of dust along with the water. Like itself turns out those clumps of dust had accumulated enough to clog the drain. All sorts of different camps of "cleaner misfits" leaked into the sewer. The drain will work for a few days, but then the water will start to pool in the drain, and I have to do it again. I have this skinny cobra snake. The snake went through the steel mesh and it worked. I saved myself the plumber.
