I'm pretty sure we bought half a stock of these remotes as our dog thinks this remote is a toy (he also rates this remote 5 stars when you consider them a gift for your dogs) and everything we've bought works great. Simply insert batteries and press buttons. You don't have to program it like before, it just works! Will probably have to buy another one after it's inevitably left over for the dogs but we're a few months old now and this one still works great!
