Poor low light performance

The camera performed very poorly in low light and required extra slow shutter speeds (ie all motion was blurred with significant delay) in my room with a few overhead lights. The camera also arrived with a mark or scratch on the lens, leaving a small but noticeable artifact mostly where my head should have been in the frame. I liked the zoom and manual focus, but the quality of the camera was too low for my purposes.
