I've just gotten back to riding after years without a saddle so my bike needed some love before hitting the road and one thing , which I had always wanted was a bicycle maintenance/repair stand. This option is perfect. I didn't need anything too complex or heavy, and I definitely wanted something that could be folded away when not in use. This Anggoer stand ticks all of those boxes while also looking pretty good (I know it's not that important). Fit and Finish: The first impression of the finish is really possible. All aluminum parts are nicely anodized and look very nice. The other non-aluminum elements are either chrome or plastic, and they all seem to fit well and work well together. Function: Functionally, the stand works well. The legs are wide enough to keep it stable when a bike is hanging from it, and the vertical telescoping tube extends high enough to work with any bike I have. I appreciate the tool tray and it can be removed without having to unscrew it every time I need to remove the stand. After using it several times I've found a few things that I think could be improved while I'm working on my bike. The clamp that holds the bike needs a strong spring so that when you loosen the handle to remove the clamp, the two pieces move apart for easier bike removal. Since the weight of the bike is on the sliding part, don't let it open on its own now - I have to awkwardly hold the bike, turn the handle, and spread the clamp. Not the best design.2. The knob on the back of the clamp arm that allows you to rotate or lower the storage arm is a bit flimsy in the same way as #1. It's not perfect and could use some sort of spring tension to allow for one-handed operation. The clamps that hold the tubes in place, while adjustable, feel a little flimsy, but that's just the feel. They haven't disappointed me, but they don't inspire much confidence.4. The storage bag is weak. Can Def use a much more durable fabric that will stand the test of time? Conclusion: Despite these small complaints, I would still give this stand 4 stars. It's in good shape and has held up well so far. It's cute, folds up relatively compact and is easy to set up after a ride just for a general clean before I put the bike away.
