Replace filter and belt = vacuum cleaner as good as new

I've had my UH70120 Wind Tunnel for almost three years now. For the past few weeks I've noticed a burning smell when I turn the vacuum on and I've been worried that the filters are clogged and the motor is burning out. After finding an owner's manual online, I saw that one of the most common problems was "smoke/burning smell" and the solution was a new belt. The smell seemed to be coming from inside the unit (although my nose was right next to the strap) so I was a little doubtful the replacement strap and filters would work. Hoping to keep another plastic vacuum cleaner out of the landfill, I have a washable filter/Hepa filter set and new agitator blades. Surprisingly everything came up and fit perfectly. Seriously, it works like new now - Washable filter: Fits perfectly and works great. Ok - Hepa Filter: Quite a lot of comments about this part not fitting properly. I had no problems at all. The Hepa information is printed on the front so it looks just like the original genuine part. I had to shake it a little to get it all the way in, but it fits perfectly. Stirring Belt: When you replace your old belt, you will notice how much it has stretched compared to the new one. You will need to stretch the new roller when you put the brush roller back on, so some ladies may need an extra hand with this roller. Best of all... No more burning smell! Oooh! The problem is solved. All in all, each of these replacement parts fits and works like new. Keep these items in good condition and you will love your vacuum cleaner again.
