Review on ELG Video Capture Mac/Win: High-Quality Video Capture for Both Mac and Windows Platforms by James Handy

I used this with my Sony Digital 8 (DC-TRV350). It worked great! I hooked it up to a Dell laptop running Windows 10 64-bit and downloaded the video capture software directly from Elgato's website. I had no technical problems using the software or connecting my camcorder from the capture device to my laptop. I chose to connect using an S-Video cable with composite red and white (for stereo sound) connected to the composite part. The sound is excellent and the picture quality is also very good, as you would expect from tapes recorded in the 90's. You can make adjustments to improve video quality. I am very happy with this purchase!
