When you buy a gamepad from Microsoft, you expect excellent work with the operating system from Microsoft. But if you do not have Windows 10, get ready to face all sorts of problems. To celebrate the purchase, I immediately connected the gamepad via microUSB to check it out, and at first everything was fine. However, it turned out that, for example, GTA V (!) does not see it. It was solved using the xBox 360 Gamepad emulation program (a program for cheap Chinese gamepads that are poorly supported by games, well, as I understand it). Well, at least it works through the emulator, it’s already good, but the bell is alarming. Then the interesting begins - I decided to connect via Bluetooth, otherwise why would I need a gamepad, the name of which includes "wireless"? :) I try to connect - the device sees, I press "contact the device" - it asks for a pin code, about how. It won't let you connect without a PIN. I go to help from Microsoft and there I find out something interesting: it turns out that in Windows 8.1, 8 and 7, connecting to a gamepad via Bluetooth is not supported. That is, the Microsoft gamepad is not supported on the Microsoft system? Cool. They offer to buy an adapter for $25. But I didn’t want to give up so easily and went looking for a solution. I didn’t find anything intelligible on Mike’s forums - there solutions of the level “buy an adapter or use a cable, reinstall the drivers” and other extremely useful tips are marked as the “best answer”. But bit by bit, I did collect some information, and by some miracle made the gamepad connect without a pin code, cheers! Or not. After the connection, the connection immediately falls off. :) A separate review deserves a diode on the Xbox button, which blinds at night, like a flash drive from KSki and which, apparently, cannot be turned off - on the official Microsoft forum there are also ingenious tips from users of the level "do not play at night, turn on the light in the room" - an excellent community, what is there to tell. It is up to you to decide whether you need such problems or not. I heard that controller is doing great. ;)
