Review on Rancho RS9000XL RS999214 Shock Absorber: Enhanced Suspension Performance by David Sokolov

I just got these RS9000XL RS999214 shocks for my LWB 1995 V6 Trooper/Holden Jackaroo and they are almost 1 inch shorter than the stock OE shocks that come with the car were delivered. In Australia, ranchos claim they are capable of 50mm (2 inches) of travel, but this is not possible as they reduce wheel travel even with the default setting, particularly at the front of the torsion bar where it is needed most. Quality control could be better too, paint, weld spatter, crooked welded end caps etc. Can't comment on ride quality as it's uninstalled and considering returning.
