Smaller version only moved the problem for me.

For my installs I first use the larger less expensive model. Worked great except it was hard to secure to the ceiling and keep it from falling down into the blades. RF remote works great and does not interfere with one close by. The second time I bough the smaller one for an identical fan. This only moved the mounting location and also made securing it difficult.
