Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced Performance NTK 23160 Oxygen Sensor in Sleek Black Design by Pascal Santos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just what I needed for my 2006 Jeep Wranger X

My 2006 Jeep Wrangler was giving out code P0153. After a bit of research on the Jeep Wrangler forums I found many posts stating that the Jeep was a bit sensitive to the brand of the replacement O2 sensor. The NGK brand was highly recommended. I am the original owner, the jeep has 150,000 miles so this was the first time one of the O2 sensors had been replaced. I also used a TEKTON 47749 3/8" actuator with a 7/8" (22mm) offset oxygen sensor socket, Revain part number B00GMN4D1Q. The O2 sensor was in a tricky position, this plug helped a lot. You will also need a 3/8 jumper. The Jeep wasn't my daily driver, so I exposed a faulty oxygen sensor to a rust blast every day for a week. On Saturday morning the faulty O2 sensor came loose easily and was easy to remove. The threads of this new O2 sensor are already coated with a lubricant. All I had to do was screw it down and secure it properly. Disconnect the positive battery cable for a minute or two to reset the engine code. Works perfectly. I highly recommend this product.
