My 2006 Jeep Wrangler was giving out code P0153. After a bit of research on the Jeep Wrangler forums I found many posts stating that the Jeep was a bit sensitive to the brand of the replacement O2 sensor. The NGK brand was highly recommended. Sensors work well on my 2006 Dodge Magnum R/T. With them I could pass, but unfortunately the problem was different, so it was money not to be spent.

A great sensor has never let me down on this job, every car is obviously different and every detail is either good or bad. I drive it all the time, it always seems to work on my cars.

OEM works best. This worked for me. All the aftermarket sensors failed almost immediately, I tried a few and they all failed. Either immediately or shortly thereafter. These did not disappoint! These are precision non-universal mounting sites with wide mounting slots. Buy the best and don't make your sensors more than once. They fit my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L Hemi. Use anti-seize threads. They didn't have much on them, but I added some more for extra protection.

The connector at the end of the cable from the O2 sensor was or was not compatible with the newer machine. This device was developed for an earlier model. This has happened before and we simply cut the connector off and reused the end of the failed sensor. --- It didn't work this time. I am still working on it. As I said, this happened to me before when I ordered an O2 for my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I don't think Revane's people can read orders. This O2 sensor might fit 2000 or 2003 but not 2005…
