I bought these because sometimes I like to have a second or third cup of coffee but don't feel like every one time to spend when I drink coffee. do with one of my pods. I like to enjoy them and then switch to regular freshly ground beans (or use them as a backup if I run out of pods). It's a little fiddly, but they work great. The trick is to grind the coffee beans as finely as possible - almost to a powder - and then pour them firmly into the pods to be processed. Cut the foil caps off the pods you plan to reuse. Requires a steady hand and patience, but once you've done it a few times it's easy, and the included cutting tool is great. My only request is a reusable mesh bag or box to keep everything together, but that's a bit of a nitpick. I place my lids, foil cutter and scoop in a clear stasher bag for safekeeping, along with aluminum containers that I recycle and reuse.
