I love magnets, like most boys do. When we play with them we feel power, smoothness and control :) Anyway these earth magnets are available on the market now at affordable prices (not available when I was growing up), they are very strong and open up a wide spectrum of possibilities. . One magnet lets the other go through 2 1/2 inch thick solid pine with ease! Ideal for fixing shower curtains, one at each end. The three extras I installed in between were too big and I removed them. It's too early to talk about durability. No regrets, no "cons". I highly recommend them.
