I installed a bracket between the top heater wires and the top of the rear window on our Nissan Frontier. The SWR was flat (the needle didn't even move) and was reported to be dead dead in the repeater for 13 miles cross country. Complete silence was also reported from a two-radio simplex two and three miles away over the same type of terrain. I think we'll like it a lot more than the magnetic mount it replaced. This is a much cleaner setup. It took about an hour to install the antenna and route the antenna cable so that it would not disturb the rear-seat passengers in the cockpit.
