Review on 📺 Tivax STB-T8 Digital to Analog Television Converter Box: An Enhanced Solution for Seamless TV Conversion by Michael Radhakrishnan

Based solely on positive reviews (unfortunately I didn't look to dissatisfied customers) I bought this converter in June 2009, about a week after receiving the Radio Shack brand for two separate TVs. Last night the converter Tivax STB-TB stopped receiving/converting a local NBC station whose station is less than a mile away. Still not working this morning 8/7/09. No amount of antenna adjustment helps. Scanned the whole system again but still no NBC station. SO. I then switched over to the Radio Shack unit from another TV to make sure the jammed TV was working properly and WILL, the local NBC station, was back on and as clear as ever. In less than two months, a highly rated converter that I paid more for than Radio Shack, one of which shut down one of the main LAN channels I know of, has a very strong signal here in the Washington DC area. So now I'm thinking back to Radio Shack for ANOTHER device. The Radio Shack Digital Stream device is a great product. TIVAX is garbage! BUYER BEWARE of this device. You don't get up.
