I can't tell how they look assembled because I haven't gotten that far. My fault for not doing a little better research. these were impulse buys. I figured they were something I could just pop out and it would be together. Disadvantages: 1) Glow everywhere. complete mess. 2) You need to use zip ties to connect the boxes and thread the light inside. It's not very difficult, but it's very tiring and will be difficult for those with poor eyesight, arthritis, or limited fine motor skills. At the end of the season, all of these connections must be severed and discarded before they can be dismantled and put away. 3) Cheap - when building the first box the battery accidentally fell on the counter (about 3 inch drop) and that's it. Didn't work anymore. At this point I was so annoyed with all of this and the mess he made with the glitter that I boxed it up to send it back.
