Nice picture; Use carpenter's glue to assemble the frame

This painting turned out beautifully. It wasn't too easy, but it wasn't too difficult either. There was a lot of color; I recommend two coats for lighter colors to ensure the lines and numbers are fully covered. With darker colors a double coat is not necessary, but I recommend painting in thick layers, otherwise the canvas will look a bit washed out. Definitely worthy of a demo! Even if it's just hanging on my bedroom wall. The frame consists of 6 parts; The longer edges have been halved. The instructions said it was necessary because otherwise it would be too big to ship, which is nonsense: you could easily lengthen the box by a couple of inches, but oh well. To assemble the frame you will need to lay the plate in two and insert two screws on BOTH sides of the frame (see image). That's problematic: it leaves a bulge on the front that you stretch the canvas over, and I was afraid the canvas might tear under great tension, and in any case it didn't hold the frame very tightly. Solution: Connect the two frame parts with wood glue and then screw the plate to the inside of the frame. I didn't have a stretcher, so I couldn't fully stretch the edge of the painting. up to the edge of the frame (see illustration). It doesn't look bad at all though, and it wasn't a big deal putting the whole canvas on the frame (see the picture of the finished frame inside). I'm only giving this 4 stars because of a little headache assembling the frame. It was a great project!
