I cross train. I have both a 10 foot length in my indoor gym and a 25 foot length for my 17 foot outdoor climbing tower. Both work well. I have additional ropes and these are as good or better. Satisfied. It provides me my fix. I love climbing gym ropes and have since I was a kid. I also climbed in the Army. It is a tremendous conditioning exercise. I don't leave the rope outside though. It takes me three minutes to put up with a throw line and extension rod and less time to take down. I rope climb twice weekly minimum. I subsequently purchased in Sep 2020 two additional 25 foot ropes to aid in teaching the climbing arts.
