A nice six-core CPU at a reasonable (in $) price; I'm pleased with the buy. The pluses: High performance compared to my old processor (core i5 4460), including in single-threaded programs. Compatible with a GTX 1080.:) Ryzen 5 1600x + 6 cores / 12 threads, the most for people who prefer to open everything and everything on the computer at the same time. The negatives: The Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 memory's frequency topped out at 2800 MHz, regardless of whether or not XMP profiles were enabled in the motherboard (MSI X370 Krait). - A processor with pins instead of legs, which can be intimidating to work with after the i5, but ultimately results in a superior product.
