We primarily use canning jars for beverages, and these are great for the kids - a very good concept. Unfortunately, after only a couple uses one of the lids broke when I was removing the silicone ring to thoroughly hand wash the lid. We've been consistently careful removing and replacing the rings before and after cleaning, but I think the bottom portion is quite thin and the grain of the bamboo allows it to snap. So, I'd give it 5 stars for a clever idea, but really only one for durability.
