I bought mine from Brookstone and they usually have good stuff although prices are often higher than elsewhere. I got this at the airport so of course I paid the extra $40 for it. Although it didn't work properly, with large heart rate fluctuations that didn't make sense, I was unable to get a refund because I bought from a retailer and not a Brookstone store. However, I managed to exchange it and the new unit was no better. I will donate it to charity and stop torturing myself to try to make it work. Some will tell you that this isn't the recommended way to measure heart rate, and it may be partially true, but in my opinion, if the technology doesn't work, the device shouldn't be there. Bad maybe, but don't waste your money like me.
