I bought this set because it goes well with the red and black theme in my kitchen. They are very durable and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Only two things didn't work for me: (1) This cutlery is VERY tightly wrapped in hard plastic and placed in a metal holder. It was EXTREMELY difficult for me to cut the plastic and pry everything out. In fact, you don't have to make it that complicated just removing the spoon or fork. (2) The 16-piece set consists of tablespoons, teaspoons, butter knives and dinner forks, but no smaller fork (sometimes called fruit fork) is included. Even when I live alone, I sort out forks very quickly, and nearly all of the flatware sets I've bought in the past have had two sets of forks. It may not matter much to some buyers, but I didn't read the "fine print" and was disappointed by the lack of additional plugs.
