Drill stops rattling within first 30 days. I paid $112.00 for UPS 3 day air shipping from Hawaii to ship it back to Makita. There was no response from Makita, 3 weeks later I called and Makita said they were waiting for the parts. Finally, after a month, I returned and tried the drill, and after 2 hours of use, the drill stopped knocking again. I called Makita, they said send it back, I paid another $116 for freight. Haven't heard back from Makita. Finally, after 45 days, the drill was returned. The Makita service sucks, I will never buy a Makita product again unless I get it for free.
